Christina Hendricks was an American actress who is best known for her role as Joan Holloway. She played the character in seven seasons on AMC's period dramatic Mad Men from 2007-2015. Her work in the series has earned her critical praise and six Emmy award nominations in the category of best supporting actress category. In her career spanning over twenty years, she's well-known for her role in The Kevin Hill comedy Kevin Hill series Another Period Crime Drama Tin Star comedy-crime Good Girls. Her performances are noted in films like Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River, the Neon Demon, The Strangers : Prey at Night Egg as well as American Woman. Her voice can also be heard on the animation films From Up on Poppy Hill Toy Story 4 & Scoob! Prior to becoming acting, she was enjoying a career as a professional model.
